We are pleased to announce our latest journal publication titled “Multi camera connected vision system with multi view analytics: A comprehensive survey”, published in the IEEE Internet of Things Journal.
This survey presents the first comprehensive review of Connected Vision Systems (CVS), integrating multi-view multi-camera (MVMC) tracking, person re-identification (Re-ID), and action understanding (AU) into a unified framework. It introduces a novel taxonomy of CVS, systematically summarizes state-of-the-art datasets, methodologies, evaluation metrics, and benchmark results, and discusses emerging research directions including lifelong learning, privacy preservation, and federated learning. The survey aims to serve as a valuable resource for researchers and practitioners working toward the next generation of intelligent, scalable, and adaptive connected vision systems.
