Mustansar Fiaz received his Master’s degree from Sejong University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2016. He is currently working as a Staff Research Scientist at IBM Research, Abu Dhabi, UAE. His research focuses on computer vision and deep learning, particularly visual–spatial and temporal perception with an emphasis on explainable AI. His work spans remote sensing, medical imaging, visual language models, and reinforcement learning, with a strong focus on real-world deployment and practical impact.
